8日　　男子シングルス　J.M.（中２）　0-6 敗

9日　　女子シングルス　S.N.（中２）　1-6 敗

Congratulations to the two 2nd Grade students that competed in the Prefectural Championships today.  The best 32 singles players in Saitama played at a very high level, which was very entertaining to watch.  Our students tried hard, but sadly the score doesn't show that effort.  There were many things they learned from this experience, so I am sure they will return to training with more focus, knowledge of the game, and a determination to proceed further next year.  Well done. 
本日、県大会に出場した中2年生2人、お疲れ様でした。 埼玉県のシングルス上位 32 名が非常に高いレベルでプレーし、見ていてとても楽しかったです。 成徳深谷の選手は一生懸命頑張りましたが、残念ながらスコアはその努力を示していません。 彼らはこの経験から多くのことを学んだので、来年はさらに集中力を高め、試合の知識を深め、さらに前進する決意を持ってトレーニングに戻ってくると確信しています。 おめでとうございます。

Congratulations to the two students on a well-deserved victory today. They both trained hard for this tournament and played excellent tennis against their opponents. They both prepared well mentally for their matches and followed their own game plans. It is great to see their maturity and skills improve with each experience. Well done.

J.M.とS.N.、おめでとうございます。 二人ともこの大会に向けて一生懸命練習して、対戦相手に対して素晴らしいテニスをしました。 彼らは両方とも、試合に向けて精神的によく準備し、独自のゲームプランに従いました。 経験を積むごとに成熟度とスキルが向上するのを見るのは素晴らしいことです。 よくがんばりました！

The students played at a high level, but unfortunately were unable to progress to the Prefectural Tournament.　From this experience, they will be able to gain confidence and train well in preparation for the next challenge.
生徒たちはハイレベルでプレーできましたが、残念ながらシングルスは県大会出場とはなりませんでした。 この経験から、自信をつけ、次の挑戦に備えてよく訓練することができます。

1月12日～20日

Over the past week, the school tennis courts have undergone a renewal. The fence dividing the tennis court and the soccer field was removed and a new, higher fence was installed. For the purpose of enabling the soccer players and tennis players to train more efficiently and effectively, this fence is a great addition.
It is certain that the players are all looking forward to returning to training soon.

先週、学校のテニスコートがリニューアルされました。 テニスコートと人工芝サッカー場を隔てるフェンスを撤去し、より高いフェンスを新設しました。 サッカー選手とテニス選手がより効率的かつ効果的にトレーニングできるようにするために、このフェンスは素晴らしい追加です。
選手たちは皆、すぐにトレーニングに戻ることを楽しみにしていることは間違いありません。
